Wanting  to get their marriage off to a good start Stephanie and George were taught to always look for ways to receive Jehovah God's blessings. Even  though they were on their honeymoon, they went to the local Kingdom Hall to  attend  religious services as well as to participate in the public preaching ministry. At that time the local Kingdom Hall also served as the Branch Office for the Bahamas.

While attending the Kingdom Hall to participate in the public ministry, George and Stephanie met Daniel. Daniel was a young pioneer minister from Canada, serving in a French congregation who was also vacationing in the Bahamas. Daniel is pictured in a few of the collage of photos from our time in the ministry that morning.

The  loving Brother and Sister who reviewed bible based information on  marriage with Stephanie and George during their engagement, emphasized putting Jehovah  first in their lives  as individuals, and then as a married couple.

Bahamas - Revisited 20 years Later

20 years later Stephanie and George had the opportunity to return to Paradise Island in Nassau Bahamas. In some ways the islands had not changed much. Still a very beautiful and scenic place.

However with new developments over the years like Atlantis, the island has grown and changed quite a bit. The same is true regarding the preaching work of Jehovah's Witnesses on the island. The picture of the yellow building at the top of this page is of the small Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses that also encompassed  branch facilities for the distribution of literature back in the 1980's.

In the bottom picture above, the yellow Kingdom Hall has been replaced with a larger multi-level pastel colored building giving further evidence of the growth of the Kingdom preaching work in the area.
