Theocratic Activities
Over the years, Jehovah God has blessed George & Stephanie along with millions of others with opportunities to serve him in various theocratic activities. These activities have assisted them in their growth as ministers, as well as their goal of attaining spiritual maturity and continuing in the same course or routine. (Philippians 3:16)
Officiating Wedding Ceremony

Watch a portion of a Wedding Talk delivered by George on the Bible's view of the marital roles.
Most Christian couples choose to have a Bible-based talk at their wedding. Above, George conducts two different wedding ceremonies. The last picture is an example of the artwork used in the wedding talks.
Family Worship - Trip to Washington DC

Jehovah’s Witnesses have increasingly focused attention on the need for each family to have its own Bible study program called "Family Worship". (2 Tim. 3:1) All Christian families are urged to have a regular Bible study right in the home for the benefit of the entire family.
The pictures above are of the Holocaust Museum in Washington DC. As a follow up to a family worship study project on the treatment of Jehovah's Witnesses in Nazi concentration camps, Stephanie and George visited the museum and viewed the displays.

The display "Shoes" is one of the few exhibits of any kind that you can smell. The faint, rubber-tinged fumes that become more nauseating the longer you stand in the room and realize the shoes represents the thousands of lives lost will make an impact on you that will not easily be forgotten.

Bible History Tour in London England

Our tour guide at the British Museum was a servant of Jehovah for many years.

The Nabonidus Chronicle is discussed in the
publication Insight on the Scriptures p. 148

Explanation of biblical artifacts
Many of the artifacts found in the pictures contained in the 'Insight on the Scriptures' spiritual encyclopedias (produced by Jehovah's Witnesses) are housed in the British Museum located in London England.
Clay tablets and cylinders from the royal courts of Babylon are just some of the cultural material confirming the accounts of Bible writers Daniel, Ezra and others - and which fortify our faith in God's inspired word, the Bible. The tour "The Stones Cry Out - Ancient Stones Bear Witness" based upon the book of Isaiah was a requested favorite tour during our visit.
Training and Mentoring Others in the Congregation
Jesus trained and instructed not only his apostles but also the 70 disciples whom he sent out on a preaching campaign. (Luke 10:1-12). With Jehovah’s Witnesses having millions of active Kingdom proclaimers serving in tens of thousands of congregations worldwide, there continues to be a need for individuals who are trained to take the lead in spiritual matters. One place where this training often takes place is within what is called a field service group. This is a smaller group within the congregation, usually made up of a handful of individuals, where members can receive specific and individualized spiritual attention.
The principle found at 2 Timothy 2:2 applies well: “… these things entrust to faithful men, who, in turn, will be adequately qualified to teach others.” Although training and mentoring others requires time and effort, mature individuals view it as both a privilege and a responsibility. By sharing their knowledge, experience, and spiritual qualities, they can help others grow and become better equipped to serve the congregation. In the picture, George is shepherding and training a member of his field service group. George viewed the assignment of shepherding a field service group as one of the most outstanding spiritual assignments he could receive. Also pictured is a portion of the schedule George would use to shepherd the field service group that was assigned to him.
