Pioneer Service

Pioneer Service School_edited.jpg

A pioneer is a person who agrees to complete a set number of hours each month in the ministry. Both Stephanie & George along with thousands of others at least once each year serve as auxiliary pioneers (spends 15-30 hours a month in the ministry).

Both have also had the privilege of serving as regular pioneers (spends 50 hours a month on average in the ministry).

After serving as a regular pioneer for a year a minister is then invited to attend the Pioneer Service School. Pioneer Service School is a over 40 hour bible study course [not including homework] that includes question and answer sessions.

The purpose of the school is allow ministers that attend to be more effective in their ministry and develop a deeper relationship with God. George and Stephanie had the privilege of attending the 2003 Pioneer Service School held at the Nash Park Kingdom Hall in Wisconsin.

This was truly a spiritual blessing to learn from two experienced Circuit Overseers (elders that travel the country encouraging congregations), as well as the experiences of the other pioneer ministers attending the school. The methods of teaching and the training in christian conduct learned at pioneer school stay with you forever.
